Hi, I’m Laura.
200 hr Certified Yoga Teacher • Meditation Teacher • Herbalist
I help burnt-out millennials feel calmer, stronger, and grounded through yoga, meditation, and herbalism.
My approach makes room for a little challenge, a proper rest, and laughing when your balance has other plans.
Laugh, wobble, and rest. You’re welcome here for all of it.
How I found my way to the mat.
I know what it feels like to be stressed, anxious, overwhelmed, and disconnected from your body.
To keep holding everything together while taking care of yourself gets pushed further down the list.
In April 2016, I experienced a miscarriage at eight and a half weeks. That loss changed me. It brought grief, questions, and a search for ways to care for myself.
During that time, I enrolled in the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and became a health coach. I began exploring my relationship with food, my body, and the way I had been moving through life.
Then I found yoga through Yoga with Adriene in January 2017.
At first, I thought yoga was about getting more flexible or learning impressive poses. What kept bringing me back was how I felt afterward.
Calmer. More connected. More like myself.
That personal practice eventually grew into a desire to teach. I completed teacher trainings in kundalini, hatha, vinyasa, and yoga nidra and continued exploring meditation, breathwork, mudra, and mantra.
My mat became a place to notice how I was feeling and give myself some attention.
And it still is.
But…
Am I floating through life perfectly calm with a two-hour morning routine?
Absolutely fucking not. Just ask my husband.
I still get stressed and I still move through hard days.
But I have practices I can return to—and I don’t need every practice to look the same.
Some days, I want a vinyasa flow. Some days, I need to slow down, breathe, and get comfortable.
That’s what I bring to teaching: guidance that makes room for how you feel today.
We can build strength, explore a pose, ask questions, and take breaks. We can take yoga seriously and still laugh when we wobble or when I cue the wrong side 😂
You don’t need to have your shit together before you begin.
A little yoga. A little birdsong.
I live in the woods, and one of my favorite things is seeing the deer first thing when I wake up.
My favorite way to practice? Vinyasa after work, with the birds outside providing the soundtrack.
Those everyday moments matter to me: noticing what’s outside my window, making time for my practice, and enjoying where I am.
Your version might look different. I’d love to help you find what makes practice feel like time for yourself.
What you’ll find here.
My teaching brings together kundalini, hatha, vinyasa, yoga nidra, breathwork, and mudra, mantra, and sound bowl meditations, yoga philosophy, and yoga tips.
Some classes build warmth and strength. Others invite stillness and rest. Throughout, you’ll find encouragement, clear guidance, and space to explore what works for your body.
Herbalism is also part of my work, with a focus on education and teas. I’m currently continuing my studies through Herbal Academy, with individual herbal consultations planned for the future.
Whether you join a live class or work with me privately, my intention is to help you feel calmer, stronger, and grounded—and build a practice you enjoy returning to.
